NEW BOUNDARIES FOR CD 3, 4, AND 7 MAY AFFECT YOU

Redistricting has changed the boundaries of the 3rd, 4th, and 7th Congressional Districts (CD). For many in the Richmond metro area, their member of Congress will change. You can check your District on the Virginia Department of Elections website at http://www.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInformation.

NEW VOTING EQUIPMENT

Many area voters used different voting equipment in the November 2015 election for the first time. The most common new equipment is optical scan equipment, where you fill in a paper ballot that is then placed in a machine to be scanned and counted.
