Becky Bowers-Lanier, RN, MSN, MPH, EdD
Becky Bowers-Lanier is the President of B2L Consulting, LLC, specializing in consulting with health care and education non-profits on advocacy strategy and grassroots advocacy development. She has 17 years of experience as a lobbyist and advocacy consultant and 30 years of experience as a staff nurse, nurse educator, and program evaluator.
Lisa Guthrie
Lisa currently operates her own small business, L.M. Guthrie & Associates in downtown Richmond, VA. Her primary client is the Virginia Transit Association where she has served as the Executive Director since 2014. The VTA is a nonprofit corporation representing public transportation providers, associated businesses, nonprofits, and individuals that is recognized as the voice for public transportation across Virginia.
Active in governmental relations, legislative advocacy, and political campaigns since her teaching days in Virginia Beach, Lisa continues to promote grassroots activism and community outreach as the most effective tool in achieving success.
