Virginia Redistricting Commission Public Hearings have started!
Around 20 people spoke up at the in-person hearing in Farmville (Longwood University) on July 13th and at the virtual meeting on Thursday, July 15th. Although few in number, their messages about their communities were very persuasive, well crafted, and well delivered.
Please consider attending the public hearing in Richmond on Tuesday, August 3rd at 6:00 pm either virtually or in person at the Pocahontas Building (General Assembly), 900 E Main St, Richmond 23219. Registration to speak in person will be open on-site between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on August 3rd. To speak virtually, you must register online by 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 2nd. The link to register to speak virtually is not yet available.
