Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Virginia Department of Elections is encouraging absentee voting for the June 23 primary election.
You can request an absentee ballot on line at https://www.elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/absentee-voting/
Follow the prompts and have your driver's license available to locate your id number to approve use of your electronic signature.
It only takes a few minutes.
Deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is June 16
Mail your ballot to be received by election day June 23
